Have you ever tried using cannabis to help relieve period pain? Any woman who is against cannabis or who is currently on the fence about it should really give it a try the next time she has period pain (if it is legal where you live, of course).
Listen up, you are a brave warrior, I know that. But when period cramps hit, you don’t have to tough it out and avoid help. Personally, I struggle with very bad period pain. It gets so bad that it affects the quality of my life and I struggle to move around for three or four days a month.
I get period pain so bad that it feels like I cannot move or breathe. But when I take some cannabis oil or an edible, my symptoms disappear or decrease significantly. It makes me feel human again. Without cannabis, I don’t know how productive I would have been when on my period and in pain.
When I use it, I am able to go about my day like a normal person. For period pain, you might want to go with a strain that is high in THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). Strains that are high in CBD (Cannabidiol) are also great for managing pain. If you really don’t want to feel high, go for CBD and try to get a strain that is low in THC.
I feel sorry for people who have pain on a daily basis, have access to cannabis, and don’t give it a try. Life could be so much better. My period pain does not have to interfere with my life thanks to cannabis. I’ve tried other painkillers in the past, but they never had this effect.
Luckily, the stigma around the use of cannabis is slowly changing. It is becoming far more acceptable for people to use cannabis openly to treat things like period pain and anxiety, and even to use it just for fun.
Have you tried using cannabis for period pain? If you haven’t, give it a try. If you don’t like it, the good thing is that you don’t have to use it again. But just imagine how much better life could be during that time of the month if it did work and you could stop taking pharmaceutical pain killers.
Introducing cannabis could be one of the best decisions you ever make. Who knows?
