How Much Meat Does the Carnivore Diet Include In a Day?
The amount of meat to eat on a carnivore diet is entirely up to every individual. One of the basic recommendations I would make is that you can’t just eat lean muscle meat. You do need a decent amount of fat in order to make this diet work. If you just ate lean muscle meat with very little to no fat, you will enter a state of rabbit starvation, which will not be good for your health.
Your protein to fat ratio is entirely dependent on your own personal goals and what you’re aiming to achieve. I stick to a maximum of 2 grams of protein per kilo of body mass per day, with the majority of my calories coming from fat, but if you want to, you can have much lower protein levels and make your diet almost entirely fat-based in order to obtain therapeutic levels of ketosis.
